Favorite Restaurants
One of our favorite Japanese restaurants anywhere is Tako Grill, in Bethesda. The restaurant serves both sushi and cooked cuisine. Mark is our sushi afficionado, and highly recommends the unagi. Sharon, on the other hand, equates raw with "not quite dead yet" (imagine a Monty Python accent), and loves the chicken teriyaki and miso soup.

From the end of the walk, you get a front row view of the falls, which can be quite spectacular when the river is high. Standing there and watching the water rush and tumble over the rocks, it is hard to believe that city life is close by.
